Handyman in Santa Clarita

Our handyman in Santa Clarita takes on TV mounting, patio doors that drag, holes in drywall and window screens, booked into a two-hour window of your choosing. We answer calls and texts at (310) 857-2520 from 7am to 7pm, seven days.

Open 7am to 7pm, seven days. A quote is free, by phone or from a photo.

A handyman in Santa Clarita has to be straight about the drive, so here it is: the 5 Freeway and the 14 Freeway are our problem, and your two-hour window is the promise. Text or call (310) 857-2520, get the price in writing, and name the window.

We come to Valencia, Newhall, and to Stevenson Ranch and Castaic nearby. The jobs are the small ones: TV mounting, a patio door that drags, patching holes in drywall, a door knob that spins, and window screens.

Your two-hour window

  • You pick the window. Every visit is booked into a two-hour window.
  • A text when we are on the way. If we are running late, you get a call before the window closes.
  • An answer inside the hour. You hear back from 7am to 7pm, seven days a week.
  • A free quote. Most small jobs get a written price from the call or a photo.
  • Covered for a year. Our work is covered for a year from the date on your invoice.

What the visit pays for

  • The drive is inside the visit. One visit charge pays for the trip to your door and the first hour of work, however far up the freeway you are. The miles are not a separate line.
  • Time after that. Anything over the hour is billed in half-hour steps, not in whole hours.
  • Make the trip count. Two jobs on one visit share the trip, and the second one just adds its half hours. With the drive out here, walk the house before you call and add the small things.
  • Nothing starts without a price. For a small job the price comes in writing from the call or a photo, and a bigger job is held until you say yes. Our page on what a visit costs has the rest.

If the freeway is slow and we are running late

  • We call before the window ends. A backup on the 5 or the 14, or a job before yours that runs long, means a phone call from us while your window is still open.
  • You say what suits you. If the later time does not work, tell us on that call and we rebook you into a window that does.
  • The slow drive is on us. It adds nothing to what you pay. The visit covers the trip, however long the freeway made it.

From your call to the finished photo

  1. Text a photo of the job, or call (310) 857-2520. Between 7am and 7pm you have an answer within the hour.
  2. The price for most small jobs comes back in writing. If it is a bigger job, it is priced before it starts, and only goes ahead when you say so.
  3. You name a two-hour window. An early one from 7am, or a weekend one, saves a day off work if you commute to Los Angeles.
  4. When our handyman sets off, you get a text.
  5. The invoice is itemized and comes by text that evening, with a photo of the finished work.

Keeping the window from Newhall to Castaic

  • Valencia. With a driveway out front, parking is the easy part. If your community has a set place for work vans, tell us and the van goes there.
  • Newhall. The older, smaller homes here sit on tighter streets, so say whether the van goes on the driveway or the street.
  • Stevenson Ranch and Castaic nearby. Both are inside our area, and the extra miles on the 5 Freeway are on us. Your window is the same two hours.
  • Off Lyons Avenue or out toward Placerita Canyon. Give us the cross street and anything that helps our handyman spot the right driveway from the road.
  • Summer afternoons. Inland heat makes an afternoon patio door or screen job hard on everyone, so pick a morning window for anything outside. On a Santa Ana day, a windy yard is no place to fit a screen, and we say so when you book.
  • Tenants. If your landlord books the visit, the window and the on-the-way text still come to you.

Before you book a window up here

Is Santa Clarita too far for one small job?

No. The drive is part of the trip, and the trip is part of the visit. If a second small job is waiting, add it, because it rides on the same half-hour steps and you pay for the trip once.

Can you do TV mounting in Santa Clarita on a weekend?

Yes. We are open 7am to 7pm, seven days, and a weekend window works the same way as a weekday one. Text a photo of the wall and the TV box for a written price.

What if nobody is home until the evening?

Pick a late window or a weekend one. The on-the-way text comes either way, so you know when to be at the door.
