Window screen and screen door repair. Torn mesh re-splined on the spot.
Window screens and sliding screen doors, with bent frames rebuilt. We also make new screens for old windows that no store stocks a size for.
Open 7am to 7pm, seven days. A quote is free, by phone or from a photo.

A torn screen is usually a sound frame with tired mesh in it. We set it on a pair of sawhorses outside and put new mesh in the frame you already have.
Screens we fix
- Torn or sagging mesh, or mesh loose at one edge of the frame.
- A bent frame, or a corner that has cracked.
- Screens that won't stay seated in the window.
- Hinged and sliding screen doors with torn mesh or worn rollers.
- Old windows that lost their screens years ago, in a size no store stocks.
When the old frame can stay
A frame with firm corners that sits square gets fresh mesh and spline and goes back in your window. A cracked corner or a split rail would pull the new mesh slack, so that screen is built again from new frame stock, sized to the opening.

Screen doors
A hinged screen door gets the same new mesh as a window screen, and we check its closer and latch while it's off. On a sliding one we check the rollers too, since a worn roller is what lets it jump the track.
From the window to the sawhorses
- Tell us how many. A rough size for each screen, and a photo of the worst one by text. It helps us book enough time.
- You get a written price and a two-hour window. When our handyman leaves the job before yours, you get a text with the time he'll be at your door.
- New mesh in. On the sawhorses, we pull the torn mesh and clean the groove. Fresh mesh is stretched over the frame and rolled in with new spline.
- Back in its own window. Each screen is seated where it came from, and we slide the window open and shut past it.
What adds time to screens
The visit covers the trip and the first hour of work, then time goes in half-hour steps. The written price comes before we start, and nothing bigger goes ahead without your OK.
- How many screens. Several on one visit run on the same half-hour steps, so the trip is paid once.
- A new frame. It takes longer than fresh mesh in a good frame, and it is listed on the invoice.
- The mesh. Plain fiberglass is the usual choice. Heavier pet mesh and sun-blocking mesh cost more and are listed on the invoice.
- Reaching them. Upstairs screens that only come out from outside need a ladder.
What you get
- Every screen back in its window with the mesh flat and tight.
- The itemized invoice and a photo of the finished work come by text the same day.
- Our work is covered for a year from the date on your invoice. If something we fixed or installed stops working in that year, call and we book a return window at no charge. Parts we supplied are covered by the company that made them.
Before your screens come out
What does screen repair cost?
The visit, plus half-hour steps past the first hour. The number of screens, and how many need a new frame, decide how many steps.
Can you match the screens I already have?
Usually. Frames come in a few common colors, and we match the color and the frame depth where the window allows.
