Handyman in Northridge

From sticking doors to TV mounting, we take care of Northridge houses and student rentals, and every visit goes into a two-hour window you pick. Text or call (310) 857-2520 any day between 7am and 7pm.

Open 7am to 7pm, seven days. A quote is free, by phone or from a photo.

You can have a handyman in Northridge at your door inside a two-hour window you pick, and a text tells you when the van is on the way. If Nordhoff Street or Devonshire Street slows us down, we call you while your window is still open.

We come to the ranch houses, the apartments on Reseda Boulevard and the rentals near Cal State Northridge. The jobs are on the home repair list that keeps getting put off: a door knob to fix, weather stripping, window caulking, holes in the drywall and TV mounting.

Your two-hour window

  • You pick the window. Every visit is booked into a two-hour window.
  • A text when we are on the way. If we are running late, you get a call before the window closes.
  • An answer inside the hour. You hear back from 7am to 7pm, seven days a week.
  • A free quote. Most small jobs get a written price from the call or a photo.
  • Covered for a year. Our work is covered for a year from the date on your invoice.

If Nordhoff Street or Devonshire Street holds us up

  • The call comes while you still have time. When one of those streets is backed up or an earlier visit runs long, we call you before the window closes, so you can plan the rest of your day.
  • Your next step is up to you. You can keep the new time. If it does not work, say so and we book another window that does.
  • A late start costs you nothing. The visit pays for the trip and the first hour of work, and getting there later does not change that.

What goes on a Northridge invoice

  • The visit. This is the first line, and it buys the trip to your door and the first hour of work.
  • Half-hour steps. Time past the first hour is billed in half-hour steps, so a little extra work is not rounded up to a whole hour.
  • Anything else you add. If you also want the weather stripping done while our handyman is there, it runs on the same steps, and you pay for the trip once.
  • Nothing you did not OK. Most small jobs get a written price from the call or a photo, and nothing bigger goes ahead until you say so. You can read more about what a visit costs.

Renting to students near Cal State Northridge

  • A house or several apartments. Whether you have one house near the university or several apartments on Reseda Boulevard, one number books them all.
  • A window that fits around classes. Your tenant gets the same two-hour window and the on-the-way text, so the visit can be set for a time when someone is home.
  • Patches before the walkthrough. When a lease ends, have your tenant text photos of the holes and the torn screens. Most small jobs get a written price from the photo, and anything bigger waits for your OK.
  • Proof that it is done. You get the itemized invoice and a photo of the finished work by text before the day is out, so you do not have to drive over.

Five things that happen after you text us

  1. Call or text (310) 857-2520, or send a photo. You hear back inside the hour from 7am to 7pm.
  2. Most small jobs get a written price from that. A bigger job waits for your OK.
  3. You pick the day and the two hours.
  4. You get a text when our handyman is on the way.
  5. A photo of the finished work comes by text before the day ends, along with the itemized invoice.

From Zelzah Avenue out to Porter Ranch and Granada Hills

  • Nordhoff Street and Reseda Boulevard. If you live in one of the apartment buildings here, tell us about parking and how our handyman reaches your door.
  • Near Cal State Northridge. Give us the cross street and say whether the rental is at the front or the back of the lot, and our handyman goes straight to the right door.
  • Zelzah Avenue and Devonshire Street. With an attached garage and a driveway, parking is rarely the issue. If your cars will be in the driveway that day, say so and the van goes on the street.
  • Large lots. If the job is at the far end of a big lot, tell us which side of the house to head for when you book.
  • Porter Ranch and Granada Hills next door. Both are inside our area, and you get the same two-hour window and the same kind of bill there.
  • Valley summer heat. In the summer, ask for a morning window for anything on the outside of the house, like window caulking or a screen.
